Geneva May
Geneva May, 63, of Morgans Fork Road, Waverly, Ohio died 11:25 p.m. Tuesday July 27, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family.
She was born August 23, 1946 in Bainbridge, Ohio, daughter of the late Richard Lee Montgomery and Belva Rose Montgomery. On September 23, 1963, Geneva was united in marriage to Curtis May who survives.
Also surviving are, a daughter, Patricia Ann Nichols of Waverly; a grandson, John Matthew Nichols, Jr. of Waverly; a granddaughter, Ashley Nicole Nichols of Waverly; four great grandchildren, Hunter Dillon Nichols, Dalton Lane Nichols, Paisleigh Jo Dobbins and Kody Lee Rumer. Also surviving are four brothers, Gene Montgomery and wife Doris of Waverly; Malcolm Montgomery and wife Shirley of Lucasville, Ohio; Paul Montgomery of Chillicothe, Ohio; Lundy Montgomery and wife Kim of Waverly as well as six sisters, Cloteen Conners of Waverly; Bonnie Beekman of Peebles, Ohio; Nell Ford and husband Ronnie of Waverly; Christine Gilbert and husband James of Waverly; Dee Hensley and husband Randy of Chillicothe, Ohio; Mary Fent and husband Norman of Hillsboro, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, a brother, Warnie Montgomery and a nephew Mike Fairley preceded Geneva in death.
Geneva was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Holy Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Gardner Cemetery, Waverly, with Rev. Larry Moore officiating.
